Petr Tomeček / Pan's Flute in Full Glory

Petr Tomeček's concert takes place in the Grand Fresco Hall of the museum in Horažďovice. The programme features melodies across genres - "Love Story", music from the film "Once Upon a Time in the West", and the theme from "The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe". Between pieces, Tomeček shares stories about Pan's flute and his journey with this instrument.

Tomeček originally studied trumpet at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and performed with the Prague Castle Guard Band, the National Theatre of Moravian-Silesia, and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. He devoted himself to playing Pan's flute under the guidance of Liselotte Rokyta and Ulrich Herkenhoffer, and has personally met Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir.
