For One Night

What if you had just one night to find the love of your life? A seemingly hopeless situation can inspire people to incredible feats. The romantic comedy "One Night" tells the story of two people who were looking for each other but almost never found one another.

Strange things have been happening in America lately, so the idea that a party might come to power and ban sex outside of marriage doesn't seem entirely unrealistic. This is the premise of the romantic comedy "One Night". There is one exception to this harsh rule. A single night each year when unmarried people can have sex whenever, wherever, and as many times as they want. The entire story unfolds during this one exceptional night.

Owen (Callum Turner) hates this night, especially after his girlfriend just dumped him. He'd rather lock himself in his pizzeria and somehow get through it all. In contrast, singer Allie (Monica Barbaro) is ready to go out hunting and wake up in the morning feeling like she got everything out of the night. When these two randomly meet for the first time, it's definitely not love at first sight, and there's not even a desire to simply sleep with each other. You could say they're allergic to one another, and this aversion deepens as fate or chance keeps throwing them together. Moreover, neither of them manages to fulfill their expectations for this exceptional night. But sometimes a few intense hours are enough for someone to realize that what they desperately sought was right in front of them all along. And that love can be found even on the least romantic night of the year.
