About
Mikaela Mullaney Straus, known as King Princess, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Brooklyn, New York, who grew up in her father's recording studio, Mission Sound. She broke through in 2018 with the debut single "1950", which has surpassed 500 million Spotify streams, and followed with the acclaimed debut album Cheap Queen (2019), which reached the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Her third album, Girl Violence (2025), was released on section1 after she parted ways with Mark Ronson's Zelig Records, and the same year she made her acting debut.
