Adam's Apples

A neo-Nazi named Adam arrives at a rural parish to perform community service. The priest Ivan assigns him a seemingly simple task: bake an apple cake using apples from a tree that a flock of ravens has attacked. Ivan sees it as a test from God; Adam just wants to escape this situation as quickly as possible.

But after a few days, Adam begins to suspect something is wrong with the priest. What initially appeared to be religious fanaticism gradually reveals itself as mental illness. When Ivan suddenly collapses, Adam learns a surprising truth from the doctor - and the bizarre nature of the situation prevents him from simply walking away.

Throughout the film, passages from the Book of Job echo through the narrative, serving as a symbolic parallel to the story.
