Odyssey

Odysseus (Matt Damon) was the king of the Greek island of Ithaca who, according to legend and the poet Homer, invented the famous Trojan Horse - a trick that decided the fall of Troy and ended the exhausting siege of the city. After the battles end, he desires only one thing: to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland).

However, his bold deeds have angered the gods, who have decided to complicate his return as much as possible. This is precisely why the word "odyssey" has become synonymous with a journey full of obstacles that lead the wanderer away from his goal rather than toward it.

While Odysseus resists the gods, giants, the seductive sorceress Circe, and other perils, his wife Penelope faces men who want to seize her and the entire kingdom of Ithaca.
