Hidden Beauty of September Stones

The programme takes place on 12 September 2026 from 9 to 15 hours. Participants will meet at a pre-arranged location, where under the guidance of geologist Ing. Jiří Šafařík CSc., each person will find their own piece of limestone from the Moravian Karst.

They will then polish and buff it themselves into a collector's stone to take home. The day also includes a visit to an interactive exhibition about the formation of limestones, caves, and other karst phenomena.
