Hidden Beauty of Stones November

The "Hidden Beauty of Stones" programme takes place on 21 November 2026 from 9 to 15 o'clock. Participants meet at a pre-arranged location, where under the guidance of geologist Ing. Jiří Šafařík CSc., each person finds their own piece of limestone from the Moravian Karst.

Each participant personally grinds and polishes the stone into a museum-quality specimen and takes it home. The day also includes a visit to an interactive exhibition dedicated to the formation of limestones, caves, and other karst phenomena.
