Norbert String Quartet
The Norbert String Quartet was founded in 2003 in Prague by four members of the Czech Philharmonic - Milan Vavřínek (first violin), Petr Havlín (second violin), Jiří Řehák from Česká Třebová (viola), and Josef Špaček (cello). The quartet has long collaborated with violinist Gabriela Demeterová, and its repertoire spans works from all musical periods.
An evening of music and behind-the-scenes stories from the Czech Philharmonic and beyond will be presented by Eva Špačková, the wife of one of the performers and mother of violinist Josef Špaček and cellist Petr Špaček. There will be time for audience questions during the evening.
Subscription passes are valid for this performance. Remaining tickets in limited quantity are available for advance purchase at www.kcct.cz, at the City Museum (Klácelova 11), and at the Cultural Centre office (Nádražní 397), or one hour before the start at the box office.
