Suze + Joutsen

Duo Suze (Honza Brabec and Kuba Siegl) explores European musical traditions through male vocal harmonies accompanied by various instruments - not only strings. Their repertoire includes folk songs from Bohemia, Moravia, Slovakia, the Balkans, Cyprus, France, and Sephardic Jewish songs.

Duo Joutsen consists of two singers, guitar, and transverse flute. It emerged as an acoustic offshoot of the band Mladý Dynamický Kolektiv Band, which focuses on Ukrainian folklore in original ska arrangements. Joutsen also ventures beyond Ukraine - their repertoire includes Rusyn, Belarusian, and Polish songs, and they present folklore stories in their own, non-traditional interpretation.
