GameDev Connect is an event for current and aspiring game developers. Expect lectures from leading developers, showcases of indie and major-studio games, behind-the-scenes insights, and networking opportunities - including the chance to find internships or jobs in the gaming industry.

The event is organized by the GameDev Area initiative, which also runs the international Game Access conference and game-music concerts. The programme includes a meetup with the local developer community and a look at where the Czech game scene is heading.

The event takes place as part of Brno Creative Days 2026. A ticket to GameDev Connect 2026 also grants entry to the Maker Faire Brno 2026 festival, held on 17 and 18 October at the Brno exhibition grounds.

About the venue: BVV Brno

BVV – Brno Exhibition Centre is a large trade fair and exhibition complex operated by Veletrhy Brno, a.s. Opened in 1928, it is one of the most significant functionalist architectural complexes in Central Europe and is listed as a cultural monument. Around 50 trade fairs and exhibitions take place here annually, attracting nearly one million visitors, alongside congresses, concerts and sporting events.
