Gala Open-air Concert

Since the academy's founding in 2019, orchestral playing has been a central focus - something Otakar Ševčík considered essential to a musician's career. The festival orchestras are led by Jakub Hrůša, music director of the Royal Opera House London, chief conductor of the Bamberg Symphony, and from 2027 chief conductor of the Czech Philharmonic.

Both festival weeks will also feature young conductor Jan Sedláček, who made his debut at the Prague Spring festival this year.
