Prague During the Protectorate

A guided walk through Protectorate-era Prague interspersed with original period anecdotes.

The tour will present four Protectors, the fate of Heydrich's widow and K. H. Frank's wife. You will learn how the Germans modified the Černín Palace, where the Heeres Museum was located, how Hitler stayed in Prague, and many other facts. At each of the 12 stops, an original Protectorate-era anecdote will be shared.

The route begins at Pohořelec (in front of the monument to Jan Kepler and Tycho Brahe) and ends at Malostranské náměstí. The walk lasts 1.5-2 hours and the terrain is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Guide: Jiří Kos. Children under 12 enter free.

Tickets cannot be purchased on site. Up to 24 hours before the start, a ticket can be rebooked for another date or walk. Within a shorter timeframe, rebooking is not possible, but a participant may send a substitute who registers under their name.
