Description was written before the event

An exhibition of paintings by Petr Sychra with an opening reception exploring the relationship between humans and nature. The event takes place on September 1, 2026, from 9:00 to 18:00 at the Castle Courtyard in Kuřim. Admission is free.

About the venue: Zámecké nádvoří

The courtyard of Kuřim Castle, a Renaissance manor built in 1592-1594 on the site of an earlier fortified residence, now a listed cultural monument. The complex pairs the Old Castle with a historicist New Castle added in 1888-1889, linked by an arcaded loggia. The courtyard serves as the main outdoor venue for the town's summer cultural programme - concerts, theatre performances and open-air cinema.
