VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY OF THE THIRD AGE — Zámecké nádvoří, Kuřim

An educational programme for seniors focused on digital literacy and modern technologies. Classes take place in the pleasant setting of the castle courtyard in Kuřim.

About the venue: Zámecké nádvoří

The courtyard of Kuřim Castle, a Renaissance manor built in 1592-1594 on the site of an earlier fortified residence, now a listed cultural monument. The complex pairs the Old Castle with a historicist New Castle added in 1888-1889, linked by an arcaded loggia. The courtyard serves as the main outdoor venue for the town's summer cultural programme - concerts, theatre performances and open-air cinema.
