Czechs or Jews? - The Czech-Jewish Movement in the Czech Lands (Lecture)

A lecture by Michal Konvalinka, a student at the Department of Historical Sciences at the University of West Bohemia in Plzen, will present the Czech-Jewish movement as part of the contemporary dispute over national identity between Czechs and Germans. In this conflict, part of the Jewish community found itself at a crossroads and sought to establish its own national identity.
