About the venue: Theatre Na Zábradlí

Theatre on the Balustrade (Divadlo Na zábradlí) is one of Prague's most prominent smaller theatres, founded in 1958 by Helena Philippová, Ivan Vyskočil, Jiří Suchý and Vladimír Vodička. In the 1960s it became the centre of Czech absurdist theatre, premiering plays by Václav Havel under director Jan Grossman. The main auditorium seats 165 with 30 additional balcony seats. Today's repertoire spans original productions, novel adaptations and radical reinterpretations of classics.
