MusEquality, a chamber ensemble founded at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, specializes in arranging classical music for unconventional instrumentation. This concert explores the influence of folk music on the classical repertoire - the melodies, rhythms, and spirit of rural traditions that inspired composers perhaps more than is commonly acknowledged.

About the venue: Cultural Centre Ždánice

Kulturní dům Ždánice is the main cultural and social venue in the town. It hosts balls, folk celebrations, theatrical performances and various community events, and its spaces can also be rented for private occasions. The venue is located next to the château and its park. The main hall seats around 300 and features a raised stage; a café with a bar on the upper floor accommodates around 100 guests.
