Church of Saint Hedwig

The Church of Saint Hedwig is a work by Leopold Bauer, a native of Krnov, from the late 1930s - the same architect who designed the Breda & Weinstein department store and the new headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce and Crafts in Opava (now the Petra Bezruč Library).

The tour is led by Petr Tesař (July 15) or Pavel Solnický (August 11), both from the State Archives in Opava. The estimated duration is 90 minutes, meeting in front of the church on Saint Hedwig Square.

Tickets are available through GoOut or at the reception of the Municipal House; any remaining tickets will be sold on site.
