Walk across Charles Bridge

An early morning walk across Charles Bridge, before the crowds of tourists arrive. The route starts in the Old Town and leads across the bridge to the Lesser Town - along the way, participants stop at individual statues and learn about the building's distinctive features that a casual passerby would miss.

The walk covers topics such as: why the bridge's construction took so long, where mystical sites are located, how to read the statues and their symbolism, why some Prague Jews demanded the removal of the statue of the crucified Jesus, what magical symbols are hidden on the bridge, which statue is the oldest and which the youngest, what role Swedish attacks on the Old Town played, what purposes the bridge served in the past, and the significance of the Bruncvik statue.
