The exhibition explores the history of the sculpture of Saint Anne the Third from Plané, which is housed in the hospice. The iconographic motif of Saint Anne the Third depicts the saint as the mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus Christ.

About the venue: Museum and Gallery of Northern Plzeň Region in Mariánská Týnice

The Museum and Gallery of Northern Plzeň Region is housed in the former Cistercian priory of Mariánská Týnice near Kralovice, designed by the baroque architect Jan Blažej Santini. The museum has been based here since 1952; in 2018 the complex was listed as a national cultural monument and is owned by the Plzeň Region. Permanent exhibitions cover ethnography, urban life and the baroque heritage of the area, while temporary shows and concerts take place in the former monastery refectory. The museum received the Gloria musaealis award for its permanent exhibition.
