A grand musical celebration of the greatest film scores! Legendary melodies by Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Ludovico Einaudi, and Czech masters Karel Svoboda and Zdeněk Barták will be performed by the Black Tower Orchestra. The concert is hosted by actors Petr Hubík and Martin Dobíšek from the South Bohemian Theatre. Composer Zdeněk Barták is the project's patron.

The programme features music from Gladiator, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Schindler's List, Harry Potter, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Wild Land, A Night at Karlštejn, Circus Humberto, and many more.

About the venue: Kulturní dům

The cultural centre in Kralovice - known as the Lidový dům (People's House) - is run by the municipal cultural organisation and serves as the town's main venue for concerts, theatre performances, balls, exhibitions, and dance and language courses. The building also houses a small cinema, which moves its screenings to an open-air cinema during the summer months. Past performers include Ewa Farna and Lenka Filipová.

About: Martin Dobíšek

Martin Dobíšek is a Czech actor and musician born in 1984 in Čeladná in the Beskydy mountains. He studied singing and piano at the conservatory in Kroměříž, then musical theatre at JAMU in Brno. Since 2016 he has been a member of the Malé divadlo company within Jihočeské divadlo in České Budějovice, also appearing regularly with its opera ensemble in productions such as Evita and Il Trovatore. He is a co-recipient of the Jihočeská Thálie 2016 award for acting and musicality in Ježíšek Superstar.
