Picturesque New World
Tramvajová zastávka Pohořelec, Prague
A walking tour through the former suburbs of Hradcany - from Pohořelec tram stop to New World
The route takes participants through lesser-known parts of Hradcany, where they will see the only timber-framed cottage in central Prague and a number of charming small houses. Guide Petr Ryska will share fascinating figures from Rudolf's Prague, tell several spine-chilling legends, and reveal the secret of "one hidden secret corridor that no one in Prague knows about yet".
The walk lasts 2 hours. Meeting point is at tram stop no. 22 Pohořelec heading from the city centre, in front of the monument to Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler - in winter months it is worth looking inside the stop itself. The walk ends at the corner of New World and U Brusnice streets, near Brusnice tram stop.
The terrain is suitable for pushchairs, but unfortunately not for wheelchairs (due to cobblestones).
