Description was written before the event

The puppet theatre in Polná is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Throughout the summer holidays, the Polná Municipal Museum displays traditional wooden puppets and stage sets that have accompanied children and adults for generations.

About the venue: Městské muzeum Polná

The municipal museum in Polná documents the history of this small Bohemian-Moravian Highlands town and its surroundings. The permanent collection covers archaeology, local crafts and the notorious Hilsner affair - a landmark criminal case from around 1900 that drew international attention. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
