CF Sistrum and Groovey - Simon & Garfunkel Revival

A double concert featuring the Skřivany folk band CF Sistrum and the duo Groovey.

CF Sistrum is based in Skřivany and performs folk songs in four-part harmony with guitar. Following joint performances with the bands Marien and Klíč, the group presents a new programme featuring both well-known and lesser-played folk songs. CF Sistrum also organizes the SkálaFest festival at the Boháňka summer cinema - Skála near Hořice in Podkrkonoší.

Adam Kubát and Pavel Křivák - the duo Groovey - have been making music together since childhood and explored the repertoire of many artists before settling on the work of Simon & Garfunkel. They have remained faithful to their music for 25 years and study it in meticulous detail. The programme features the most famous songs such as Mrs. Robinson, Sound of Silence and The Boxer, as well as lesser-known melodies and lyrics that once faded into the lower reaches of the charts.
