Seniors' Day with Plzeň Region: Golden Television and Radio Hits III

On the occasion of International Seniors' Day, the Plzeň Region presents the third instalment of the Golden "Television and Radio" Hits concert, performed by the professional Václav Marek Orchestra in the Grand Hall of Měšťanská beseda.

The programme features the most popular songs and duets from the second half of the twentieth century - including compositions such as "Sing Like Rain", "Hand in Hand", "To the Towers", "Strangers In The Night", "Forever Young", "I Wanna Be Loved by You", "Mack the Knife" and more. The concert also includes a major medley of Karel Gott hits from the 1970s, a selection of romantic melodies by Iveta Bartošová, and a tribute to director Václav Vorlíček.

The concert is hosted by beloved presenter Aleš Cibulka together with the orchestra's master of ceremonies Milan Marek. Aleš Cibulka shares personal - and often unpublishable - memories connected with the individual performers.
