Guided Tour / Josef Koudelka - Invasion 68 — Otakar Kubín Gallery, Boskovice

A guided tour of Josef Koudelka's photographic series Invasion 68 will take place on August 21, 2026 - on the 58th anniversary of the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia - as part of the exhibition's accompanying programme.

The tour will be led by Tomáš Pospěch, a photographer, curator, educator, and editor-publisher of many Koudelka books. Koudelka is a native of Boskovice.

About the venue: Otakar Kubín Gallery

Galerie Otakara Kubína occupies a Renaissance space beneath the town-hall tower on Masarykovo náměstí in Boskovice. It is named after the celebrated local-born painter Otakar Kubín. Lenka and Josef Bařinka opened it in 1996 as a commercial gallery; since 2024 it has been run by the city's cultural organisation. Alongside exhibitions of Czech and international artists, it hosts lectures, talks, educational workshops and music events.
