About the venue: National House

Národní dům (National House) in Frýdek-Místek is an Art Nouveau cultural venue in the city centre, built between 1896 and 1899 thanks to the Matice místecká civic association. It features a main and a secondary hall with stucco decoration, a garden with a stage, and additional rooms. The venue hosts theatre performances, concerts, film premieres, exhibitions, balls, and educational courses. Since 1992 it has been owned by the city and is operated by the Kultura F-M organisation.

About: Jan Dolanský

Czech actor and voice performer born 14 February 1978 in Hradec Králové, coming from a theatrical family where both parents, Mária and Zdeněk Dolanský, were actors. Following studies at the Prague State Conservatory, he worked at the National Theatre from 2003 to 2014 and subsequently pursued freelance work across several Prague theatres. He gained recognition through the films Perníková věž (2002) and Sametoví vrazi (2005) as well as the television series Expozitura and Rapl; alongside acting, he maintains an active career in voice dubbing, providing voices for Philip J. Fry in Futurama and Charlie in Lost.
