Obsession

Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man hopelessly in love with his coworker Nikki (Inde Navarrette) - and equally incapable of asking her out. In desperation, he buys a dubious toy from a shady pawn shop, one that supposedly grants a single wish. Bear doesn't hesitate: he wants Nikki to love him.

The result is immediate. Nikki becomes passionately, wildly obsessed with Bear - so wildly that it begins to bother him. The colder his feelings grow, the more intense her obsession becomes, and her behaviour grows increasingly erratic.

Bear wants to undo the wish, but the shop owner offers him advice he didn't want to hear: the magic can only be ended by death - preferably his own.
