Longital

The Czech-Slovak duo Longital returns to the dance hall after five years to present their fourteenth studio album Krajina beží dolu vlastním brehem (Slnko Records). The record blends acoustic instruments with electronic layers, exploring themes of existence, joy, and transience.

Active for 25 years, the band is known for poetic lyrics, Shiny's vocals, bass lines played on the slack, and Dan Salontay's guitar work. They have performed across Europe, the USA, and Canada, including at SXSW in Austin and on tour with Irish band The Frames and Glenn Hansard and Markéta Irglová's The Swell Season project.
