A recital of The Little Prince featuring Jan Cina and Vendula Příhodová in the leading roles, performed on the Arcaded Courtyard of Moravský Krumlov Castle.

About the venue: Moravský Krumlov Castle - Arcade Courtyard

The arcaded courtyard of the Renaissance castle in Moravský Krumlov dates from a reconstruction in 1557–1562 designed by Italian builder Leonardo Garo da Bissono. The large southern courtyard is enclosed on three sides by two-storey arcades adorned with Tuscan, Ionic and Corinthian columns. The castle is historically the first arcaded castle in Moravia and has been a national cultural monument since 2023. The courtyard serves as an open-air stage for festivals and cultural events of various genres.

About: Vendula Příhodová

A native of Moravian Tasov who trained at the Janáček Academy in Brno, she is now one of the busiest musical theatre performers in the Czech Republic. In the Malý princ recital she sings alongside Jan Cina, performing original songs by Kryštof Marek with piano and string quartet.
