A puppet family show in which Faust ventures into the world of alchemy and experiences his classic tale - how it all ends remains a surprise. Alongside him appear Mephistopheles, Death, an Angel, and the meddlesome guide Kaspar.

Performed outdoors in the courtyard of Kelley's Tower, Jánský vršek 8, Malá Strana. In case of bad weather, the performance is cancelled and admission is refunded in full.

About the venue: Apropo Theatre

Divadlo Apropo is a small author-driven theatre in Prague's Malá Strana district, founded in 2000 by Filip Jan Zvolský and Marek Popp. Since 2012 it has been based inside the Museum of Alchemists and Magicians of Old Prague - the main hall Al-Iksír seats 35, with an alchemical cellar space and an open-air stage called Pod věží also in use. The programme mixes drama, puppetry, cabaret, chanson concerts and children's fairy tales, performed by an ensemble drawn largely from graduates of Czech theatre schools.
