KCHUN brings Stabat Mater to Jablonec nad Nisou on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 at the Municipal Theater. This is one of two Czech dates on the group's tour. The theater building, designed by the Viennese architects Fellner & Helmer in 1906-1907, ranks among the region's architectural treasures and has been a protected cultural monument since 1958. The Art Nouveau hall hosts over two hundred performances annually and offers fine acoustics for classical music. Admission is a flat 250 crowns.

About the venue: Municipal Theater Jablonec nad Nisou

The Art Nouveau theatre building from 1906-1907, designed by the Vienna firm Fellner & Helmer, is one of the region's most notable listed monuments, protected since 1958. The house has no permanent company - instead, visiting ensembles fill the stage with over 200 performances a year, spanning drama, opera, ballet and musicals. The auditorium seats 512 and holds 80 standing; the interior retains 114 original Art Nouveau chandeliers and wall lights across sixteen distinct designs.
