About: Hana Hegerová

Hana Hegerová (1931–2021) was a Czech chanson singer widely known as the "queen of Czech chanson". She became famous for her interpretations of French chansons as well as original Czech songs such as Levandulová and Lásko prokletá. Her distinctive voice and expressive delivery made her one of the most prominent figures in 20th-century Czech popular music.
