Městský dům kultury Karviná is a city-run cultural centre that has anchored Karviná's cultural life since 1964. The building is notable for its stained-glass façade depicting the region's mineral wealth and a wooden sculpture by local artist Jindřich Wielgus in the foyer; the main hall seats 620.
