The first performance of Orpheus and Eurydice by Divadlo nacucky! – an original, performative adaptation of the classical myth. Orpheus grieves the death of his beloved Eurydice and decides to free her from the underworld. His singing will overcome demons, but the gods set him one condition.
The production departs from traditional operatic form and emerges as a chamber theatrical work at the intersection of musical theatre, performance, and experimental staging. The story is a meditation on death and the concept of hell – not as a mythological place, but as a personal experience of pain, loss, guilt, or separation.
