A book exhibition in the Vitrínka gallery in the entrance hall of an antiquarian bookshop. The display features old travel books and guides, most of which were published over a hundred years ago. The books tell stories of distant lands, adventurous expeditions, and ways of traveling.

About the venue: Fiducia Photography Gallery

Fotografická galerie Fiducia was founded in 2001 by photographers Roman Polášek and Martin Popelář, in the upper floor of Ostrava's Antikvariát a klub Fiducia. One of the few galleries in the Czech Republic devoted exclusively to photography, it covers monographic shows of Czech and international photographers alongside multimedia installations and new media. The gallery deliberately makes room for young artists and art-school students, not just established names. The Ministry of Culture grant commission named it the best gallery project in the country in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
