A field lecture by Robert Kořínek about tower water tanks in Silesian Ostrava, combined with the launch of a new puzzle featuring Ostrava's water tanks.

Tower water tanks are distinctive structures of Ostrava - the lecture will focus on how these landmarks function and what makes them exceptional.

Fotografická galerie Fiducia was founded in 2001 by photographers Roman Polášek and Martin Popelář, in the upper floor of Ostrava's Antikvariát a klub Fiducia. One of the few galleries in the Czech Republic devoted exclusively to photography, it covers monographic shows of Czech and international photographers alongside multimedia installations and new media. The gallery deliberately makes room for young artists and art-school students, not just established names. The Ministry of Culture grant commission named it the best gallery project in the country in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
