Legendary Slovak tenor Štefan Margita comes to Brno on Saturday, 22 August 2026 at Filharmonie Brno to celebrate his jubilee with a concert of arias and duets from Czech operas and works by major composers. The programme features Mozart, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, Wagner and Gershwin. Filharmonie Brno, housed in the neo-Renaissance Besední dům designed by Viennese architect Theophil von Hansen, ranks among the leading Czech orchestras. This Brno performance is one of four Czech dates Margita will play over the coming months.
