As part of the celebrations marking 770 years since the first official mention of Veselí nad Moravou (1256-2026), we cordially invite you to an open-air screening of the film Valley of the Bees. The screening will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 21:00 in the courtyard of the Veselí nad Moravou Municipal Museum.

About the venue: Municipal Museum Veselí nad Moravou

The city museum on Bartolomějské náměstí, in the oldest part of Veselí nad Moravou, operates as a branch of the Masaryk Museum in Hodonín. Its collections cover archaeology, history and ethnography of the Veselsko and Horňácko regions - ranging from Stone Age finds and guild records to part of the local castle's inventory, folk costumes, ceramics and embroidery. A new permanent exhibition, "Od Doubravy po Javořinu", opened in summer 2024. The museum society that gave rise to the institution was founded in 1906, with the first public display opening in 1910.
