Summer cinema presents the cult comedy Tank Battalion directed by Vít Olmer, celebrating 35 years since its premiere this year.

The film was based on the novel of the same name by Josef Škvorecký - in Czechoslovakia it was first published only in 1990.

About the venue: City Park

The city park on Riegrova street is one of the most popular green spaces in Šlapanice. It sits close to the town centre and connects directly to the natural monuments Andělka and Čertovka. A renovation preserved the amphitheatre, converting its stepped walls into seating terraces; the Bistro Park opened on the premises in July 2021. The space is available for hire for cultural and social events.
