After the fantastic discovery of DNA millions of years old, a group of ambitious scientists attempts to create a natural park with living prehistoric animals on a remote uninhabited island. The project is backed by millionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), who, shortly before opening Jurassic Park to the public, invites his two grandchildren, a paleontologist with his girlfriend, and other experts to visit. A peaceful tour quickly turns into a nightmare when one of the employees steals dinosaur embryos and disables the security systems and electric fence to escape the park more easily. The dinosaurs break free, and the battle between humans and prehistoric monsters begins.
