Over the weekend of August 14-16, 2026, Brno will host its first-ever city-wide festivities, bringing together the traditions, costumes, and customs of individual city districts. The Líšeň community will be part of the celebration.

About the venue: Dělňák Líšeň

Dělňák (Workers' House) is a cultural centre in the Líšeň district of Brno, built from citizens' contributions and first opened in 1928. After an extensive reconstruction it was reopened in September 2006 as a multifunctional venue hosting theatre performances, concerts, balls, lectures, exhibitions and folk events. It is operated by Kulturní centrum Líšeň, a public organisation founded by the Brno-Líšeň municipal district.
