Rudolf Jelínek in Vizovice is one of the Czech Republic's oldest and best-known distilleries, famous above all for its slivovitz and other fruit spirits. The Distillery Land complex lets visitors tour the production facilities, take part in tastings, and explore an exhibition on the history of distilling. Jelínek slivovitz is among the country's most recognised spirit exports.

American rock musician Brian Warner, performing under the name Marilyn Manson, gained prominence in the 1990s through a provocative stage presence and albums including Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals. His music fuses industrial rock, glam metal and alternative rock elements. Following a hiatus caused by legal disputes, he resumed recording and performing in 2024 with the album One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1 released on Nuclear Blast Records.
