In the Exhibition for an Hour: The End of Black and White

A guided tour from the series "In the Exhibition for an Hour" will lead visitors through the exhibition "1939-2021: The End of Black and White" at the Trade Fair Palace. The guide will be art historian Karel Dudra, who will present Czechoslovak art of the second half of the 20th century and its key figures - Mikuláš Medek, Adriena Šimotová, Karel Malich, and Věra Janouškova.

The tour will focus on the phenomenon of informalism, geometric tendencies, and the New Figuration movement. Together with the lecturer or curator, participants will walk through the main parts of the exhibition and gain an overview that will help them navigate both the space and the themes.
