Prague Zoo Boat Cruises 2026

Regular boat service operated by Prague Steamship Company (PPS) departs from Rašín Embankment (pier no. 2, between Jiráskův and Palacký bridges) and reaches the pier on Císařský Island near Prague Zoo in 75 minutes. The 2026 navigation season runs from 28 March to 18 October. Boats depart at 9:00, 12:00 and 15:30; return from the zoo at 10:30, 13:30 and 17:15. On weekends in spring (28 March–30 April) and autumn (1 September–18 October) boats run on Saturdays and Sundays only; from 1 May to 31 August daily. Special departures are on 3 April, 6 April and 28 September. No service on 9 June. During the cruise you can admire the panorama of Prague Castle, Vltava bridges and islands, Letná Park and the Metronome; the boat passes through two locks. Refreshments and toilets are available on board. The cruise can also be used to visit Stromovka or the Botanical Garden. Tickets can be purchased online on the PPS website or directly at the office at the pier. Family and combined tickets (cruise + zoo entry) are available on-site only. Small and medium-sized dogs on a leash with a muzzle are permitted on board.
