Cycle Buses in Český Ráj 2026
Sdružení Český ráj, Turnov
Cycle Buses in Český Ráj are seasonal tourist bus lines with bicycle transport operated by the Český Ráj Microregion in cooperation with 21 towns and municipalities in the region. The project is financially supported by the Královéhradecký and Liberecký regions and numerous towns including Turnov, Jičín, Semil, and Sobotka. The 2026 season runs from April 25 to the end of September, with buses operating on weekends and public holidays. Eight color-coded routes (red, yellow, blue, green, brown, purple, pink, and dark green) connect the most attractive destinations in Český Ráj – rock formations, castles, chateaux, and examples of folk architecture. Popular stops include Chuchelna and Kozákov Chata (741 m) with opportunities for long descents into the valley. Buses depart from train and bus stations and are coordinated to connect with long-distance rail services. Individual routes can be combined. Starting April 25, 2026, the Královéhradecký region also launches its own network of tourist and cycle-tourist routes connecting Prachovské Skály, Trosky, and Hrubá Skála. Current timetables and route maps are available on the organizer's website at craj.cz.
