Hotel International - A Monument to Communism

Hotel International is listed as a cultural monument and one of the most typical examples of socialist realism in Prague. The guided tour takes participants through rooms where generals held grand parties and arranged meetings, as well as spaces designed to serve as shelters against "American imperialists".
The programme includes conference rooms, the original gymnasium, and views of Prague from a high terrace. You will also learn the story of the red star and discover what the comrades forgot to remove. The tour concludes with coffee or tea and dessert. The guide is Sonya Prochazkova, and the tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
