A Lover, Not a Fighter

Andrej wants to stop causing trouble. He plans to spend the summer at his grandmother's place, help her out, and most importantly avoid alcohol - which has a habit of making him climb tall trees he can't get down from. But his plans take an unexpected turn when he meets Míša and falls in love. And sometimes love requires fighting - even alongside his somewhat boring cousin Peter, who likes to wear sweaters.

The debut of Slovak director Martina Buchelová is a cry for cinematic freedom, full of humor and inventive formal and narrative ideas.
