Yuliy Kim in Prague: "Let's Speak Softly, Let's Speak in Half-Voice"

Yuliy Kim is a poet, bard, and playwright who was an active participant in the dissident movement in the USSR. His songs have featured in films and stage productions known to several generations: "An Ordinary Miracle", "The Man from the Boulevard des Capucines", "Bumbarash", "The Twelve Chairs", "The Mustachioed Nanny", "Little Red Riding Hood".

Kim stands alongside Okudzhava, Vysotsky, Vizbor, and Galich - bards whose names have long since become cultural touchstones.
