Get to Know Art in the National Gallery Collections
Národní galerie, Prague
A series of guided tours of the National Gallery Prague designed for all members of the public who wish to become better acquainted with artworks in the NGP collections. Participants will gain an overview of how art has transformed across centuries – the course will take you through all current collection exhibitions in the NGP's historic buildings. Lectures will be delivered by NGP educators and curators. Meetings take place every Thursday from 16:30 to 17:45. The course is held in several NGP buildings: Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia (U Milosrdných 17, Prague 1), Schwarzenberg Palace (Hradčanské náměstí 2, Prague 1), Šternberg Palace (Hradčanské náměstí 15, Prague 1), Veletržní Palace (Dukelských hrdinů 47, Prague 7), and Salmov Palace (Hradčanské náměstí 1, Prague 1). A subscription for the entire cycle is paid in two instalments via GoOut. Programme subject to change; the organiser reserves the right to cancel the event if attendance is low.
